I have an old spreadsheet for putting together final
estimates. I had password protected it to keep the
framework of the sheet from being altered by others who
were also using the sheet. I am now at a new company, and
I brought this sheet with me, and need to make
alterations, but I cannot remember the password.
Does anyone know how I can look up the password from
within the sheet?

Hello Peter,
I had the same problem and I used Excel Password Recovery
http://www.lastbit.com/excel/default.asp. It works.

Hi,
No problem.
You can search Google for password recovery tools:

Some tools are free.

Good luck!

Here is a free password cracker that works, I have seen it posted here a few
times.
