hi all, thx 4 your time and hlp.
i have a computer with xp and excel 2000.
situation:
i have a spreadsheet where the column A contains numbers. So i have 2000
numbers or 2000 lines with numbers.
because i have so many numbers i use the find feature to find a number. Once
i found the number i would like to change the colour of it but i cant go back
to the cell. i have to close the find feature and then modify the cells value.
Can you imagine how tedious it is when i have to do this for more than 100
numbers?

any idea why i cant modify the colour without closing the find window?
thx, max.

MS thought the same thing.

They improved xl2002 to work the way you want.

Since you're using xl2k (won't work in xl97), you may want to try Jan Karel
Pieterse's FlexFind:

You may be happier!
