Hi Mission Impossible,
Today, my Excel (Office 2000 Business) just started to "stop working" as
well with the same message, "microsoft excel has stopped working".  I am
using Vista 64 Home Premium.  I used Excel just a few weeks ago and often
before that.  No issues.  I do not understand why Excel worked just fine with
Vista 64 and then it just stopped working.    The Microsoft support website
says extended support is available for through 2009. The current cost is
$49.00.  This does not seem to be a technical event.  I feel I am being
forced to upgrade Office.  This product should work as long as you use it,
with or wihout support,  until I decide to upgrade.
