Hi,
I installed ESSBASE on my PC an excel add-in) but it doesnt show on my excel
screen, it is supposed to appear on the top bar. I guess I have to do one
more step...which one?

Hi,

You can put the addin where you want but it's preferable to put it in the
default addins directory.

To make the addin available click:-

Tools|Addins|Browse

Navigate the where you put your addin and click Ok

If the install went ok you should find it in the list in
Tools...Add-ins, should be Hyperion Essbase or something.
Click the check box and it should load.

Don't move the underlying add-in files (the .xlls) that will break all
the spreadsheet toolkit stuff.

Cheers
Simon
