not a valid win32 application

When I try to open a exel document i get this message
(not a valid win32 application) Dose any body have any
ideas.

Is it your own document or one someone else has created?
It may well be that the versions are widely different for example trying to use a file done in Excel for WindowsXP would struggle if opened in Windows 95 or 98.

You will have to ask the originator to save it as a different Excel version.  Do this using Save As option, and setting the Save As Type to the version of XL that you are running.

I'm assuming when I say this that you don't play around installing and unistalling different versions of Windows - this would also cause a problem.
