LOADING EXCEL 200 ON WINDOWS XP

I HAVE AN UPDATE VERSION OF EXCEL 2000 THAT I USED ON AN
OLDER COMPUTER RUNNING WINDOWS 98 IT UPDATED FROM MS
WORKS.
I AM NOW USING A NEW COMPUTER RUNNIN WINDOWS XP THE
UPDATE VERSION OF EXCELL CAN NOT FIND A PRORGRAM TO
UPDATE FROM BECAUSE I NOW HAVE A NEW VERSION OF MS WORKS.
I DO NOT HAVE MY OLD VERSION OF MS WORKS TO INSTALL. DOES
ANY ONE KNOW OF ANY WAY I CAN USE ME EXCEL 2000 UPDATE
VERSION OR WILL I NEED TO  GET A NEW EXCEL

No need to yell.

Here's the KB article that show what products qualify for the upgrade--

Call Microsoft and ask for a bypass key if you own a qualifying product.
You can press them that you had Works on a previous computer if you say
that computer is now destroyed.  Otherwise, the software and licenses still
exist for it if it was sold, given away etc.  It's all in the way you
present your case.
