Hi
I am trying to create a macro in excel 2003. In Excel 2002 I have a
person.xls where I saved my marko. The macro is created in order to make it
possible to merge fields from an extern application. For letters and so on.

However; I created the macro in Function/Macro-Macros and got my icon on the
toolbar. But when I got out of excel and in again, the macro was gone...the
icon was there but didn't functioned.

Am I right when I say that I need to work in a Mappe1.xls?

Hopefully you can help me.

Heidi

When you start recording a macro you can select "Personal Macro Workbook" or
"This workbook" as the place to store it.

Your choice.

I don't know what Mappe1.xls is.
