Hey y'all,

Is the only way to get templates now through Office On Line rather than
a direct download that works on my PC?

I don't want anything to do with Office On Line. I don't want to have
to download 2 Active X scripts just to get a template.

I tried downloading one directly, but I got a message that indicated
that I needed the Active X crap.

Bah!

TIA,

Mike W.

Hi there,

You should be able to download templates from Office.Microsoft.com and then
use them on your local machine.  I don't know where you got the activex
message at, it might be for your browser to allow you to download the
file(s).  Heck I don't even know if it is *in* the file(s) which you
received these errors, you weren't very descriptive.
