Running a macro and change file name

I was wondering if there was away to create a spreadsheet in excel,
for instance my HR girl creates a database of all personel with their
401k info then she has to save this in a .prn extension. we wrote the
Macro to name the file rename.prn. My question can we add to this
macro so it automatically renames the file with the date it was
written Example: 07102007.prn
