Hi there,

Does anyone know of a way to disable the vertical scroll bar in the
lower pane of a horizontally split screen?

Many thanks - David

I don't think it's possible (maybe someone will prove me wrong).

But one of the reasons I use Window|freeze panes instead of Window|split is to
avoid those scroll bars (and independent scrolling).

(You can turn off the vertical scroll bar for the whole window via
tools|options|view tab|uncheck vertical scroll bar)
