Variable validation lists

I would like to be able to create a pull-down list in Column A that
would determine the pull-down list made available in column B.  (For
example, in column A there might be a pull-down list that included
fruit, vegetable, and meat, and depending on which you chose, column B
would provide a pull-down list of fruits, vegetables or meats.)
