I often copy accross large lists of data from web resources, when I d
this, each of the cells in one column contains a small picture whic
remains on the worksheet even if I have moved the data elsewhere.
I can get rid of them using "cut" - but it would take too long to d
them all like this.
Is there any way of removing these en mass ?

You can show the Drawing toolbar and use the Arrow icon.
Lasso all the pictures you can (to select them) and then hit the delete key.
You could also customize a toolbar:
tools|customize|commands tab
drag the select multiple objects to your favorite toolbar.
Then click this button, select the pictures/objects you want gone and hit the
delete key.

Edit/goto special, Objects. Now all the objects are selected. Press the
Delete key.
