Hello fellas:

I have a very serius problem, with my General Manager Laptop (vaio), it's a very clean instalation of Windows XP, when I installed Office everything ok, but when she open Excel it sends this message, "Compile error in hidden module: AutoExec", and when she close it, Excel sends this message "Compile error in hidden module: DistMon", I found this KB article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/307410/en-us and I did everything that it says but the problem seems to be the same.

Any Idea?....

This single laptop has no, Adobe Acrobat Sotware (any software or vertion)
This single laptop has no, Symantec Software (any software or vertion)

Any Idea are wellcome, Thank you so much....

I'd search for all the pdfmaker*.xla files (search hidden folders, too) and move
them somewhere else.

I bet when/if you find them all, you'll be fine.

Oops, I found it!!!! it was in a "hidden Folder" inside her profile, C:\Documents and Settings\USER\Application Data\Microsoft\Excel\XLSTART\, and like this folder never look inside using the windows search I never saw it, and using the famous and reliable DIR command and it found it at first time...
