Auto decrease in digit..

Dear Sirs / Madam,

I have problem in excel 2003 . while i type 10000 it automatically shows 100
& while i type 100 it shows 1 . Please let me know the sollution

Hi Mahesh,

Try:

   Tools | Options | General | deselect the 'Fixed Decimal' option.

wow. that is a pretty cool feature.

now how can i enforce that they can only enter a fixed integer?

if they enter 100.12 in an integer field it bitches and moans??

Hey, little Aaron,

Since you claim in both this forum and in many other forums to be such
a woohoo genius and make out that others are four-letter words of your
own choice, figure it out yourself.

Maybe that'll give you something to do while you moan and groan about
Excel and about how Microsoft canned you.
