When I am working on my spreadsheet, suddenly (I can't recall wha
action have I done) the worksheet filtering function become disabled
And the title column (at the uppermost part of the whole screen) ha
shown that the name was changed from original "Microsoft Excel
xxx.xls" to "Microsoft Excel - xxx.xls (workgroup)".

I try to paste the data in the spreadsheet to another new workbook s
that I can use the filtering function again. However, once I paste th
data into the new workbook, the new workbook immediately change int
(workgroup) mode also.

Can someone help me to return my file into its original status (i.e
without workgroup mode)?

Thanks in advanc

Tommy

You have 'grouped' the worksheets. Clicking on a sheet tab and then while
holding down the Ctrl or Shift key and clicking on others you select more
than one and [Group] appears in the file titlebar.

To ungroup, click a non selected tab or if they are all selected right click
a sheet tab and select 'ungroup'

Grouping causes everything (everything that can be done...autofiltering
isn't one) to be 'mirrored' on the other worksheets
