Hello,
I have a spreadsheet With speedometers on it and I want to add a scrollbar
to make the Speedometer move.
I inserted the scrollbar and when I right click the scrollbar and select
edit, I can make the speedometer move. any other time when I try to slide
the scrollbar I get the selection tool. In other words I think I need a code
or formula to make this work. I'm close but this is as far as I know how to
go.
I have a sound wave too. Ultimately I what to have a macro or something that
when I press a button, The scrollbar will move and the wave file will play.
(It's a car revving it's engine.) This would be pretty cool if I can get it
to work.
Any suggestions?

Hi Digital2k,

I'm intrigued, how does this work?

What exactly is the speedometer, and how have you managed to control it
with the scrollbar?
Is the scrollbar off the Forms or Controls toolbar? (I don't ever use
Controls from the Controls toolbar so that my stuff works on Macs and
PCs)

If at all possible, I'd like to see a copy.

Hi Digital2k,

Thanks for that for that, I'll have a go at setting one up.

Are you wanting the speedometer needle to be moves by code?

It might not be too difficult, but I can't be certain until I set mine
up.
