Hello everyone,

I've never really worked with pivot tables, but what they do is simila
to what I want with one exception.  I don't want it to give me any sum
which it seems to be doing automatically.  I was able to hide certai
totals, but is there anyway to turn off that particular aspect (th
summing of values).  I hope I wasn't too unclear about this.  Thanks.

A pivot table must do some function for you. However it can be changed.
Right-click the data and choose field settings. You should be able to
find something more suitable than sum, I usually use max.
