Embed Map

I have loads of data in excel of which I would like to plot on a map. I have
MapPoint and it is possible to embed a Map using the mapping icon which
appears after downloading the MapPoint SDK. The problem I have is it will
only embed a european map, i can't get it to open a custom map of the UK
which is split into territories.

Also, it automatically imports the data but only asks a small amount of
information before plotting and doesn't plot the pushpins as I would like. I
can't choose my pushpin colours and shapes as I would if I was to import the
data from an open MapPoint application.
Does anyone know how to change the settings for this embedded map? Its a lot
easier than opening mappoint and importing the data each time I renew the SS.

Please Help!

If you have access to Excel 2000, the map feature is embedded into the
application with a map of the UK, can't help with your original question
though, sorry.
