Hello All,
I have found many third party applications for creating Pareto charts in
Excel, but does anyone have a simple and effective method for creating them
in the native version of Excel 2003? I'm specifically looking for the
left-to-right sorted histogram (bar chart) with a line graph overlay that
shows the cumulative contribution of each category (bar).
Thanks in advance,
JC

I'm posting this copy of my email text to you so the forum can be informed:

Since the Excel newsgroups frown upon file attachements, I'm sending this
file directly to you.
I created the attached Pareto Plotter for my company (we're big into Paretos).
Just enter the categories and values on the first sheet then click the
[Refresh/Reformat Charts] button.
The file will automatically sort the data and adjust the chart columns and
chart line.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Regards,
Ron

If anyone else is interested in the Pareto Plotter model, just let me know.
