MS Office Forum / Excel / New Users / September 2006Footer - max of 255 characters
Is there is no way around the max for footer is there? Can you not have more than one column for a footer? I have Excel 2003 and I was wanting to place a legend for codes as footer at bottom of page but unfortunately I exceeded 255 characters. Guess Word does have advantages over Excel. MSWord is a much better word processor than excel. Maybe you can print the footer using MSWord and then send the pages through the printer getting the data from Excel??? > Is there is no way around the max for footer is there? I only have two pages so that will work. Originally I had this in MS Word but like the formulas better in Excel. Thanks for your response.
