Conditional formatting of lines on charts?

Greetings,

Can anyone tell me if there's a way to format portions of lines or
curves on charts?  For example, if I have a series of values that dips
below some threshold, it would be nice to see the region of the plot or
curve where it does that.  Thanks.

I dunno about changing colors of the line, but you can use graduated fill
colors for the background of a chart area that will clearly show if the value
is in the desirable or undesirable area of the chart..........
