Hi,
I would like to add extra information to an Excel graph. For example
some summary information linked to cells - so when the cells update the
summary information on the graph will update as well.
I thought about adding text fields for example, but cannot find a way
to link the contents of the text field to a cell value.
How can I do this?
Appreciate any ideas
Thanks

Click to select the chart
In the Formula Box type = and then click the cell to be lined; this
generates a formula with the form =Sheet1!$A$1
Move it to the desired location on the chart.
best wishes

With workbook open and chart or chart sheet selected...........
Right-click on any toolbar and activate the Drawing toolbar.
Select the text box icon and draw a box on your chart.
In the formula bar enter = sign then point to the cell with the data and hit
ENTER key.
Done.
