I am working on an Excel practice text and I have been asked to "Define a
range named percent to all the percent values in column E".   Column E looks
like the following:
     SAT Average
     0.840935673
     0.714285714
     0.914634146
     0.930232558

What do I do?

Thanks, CJ

Select the range E2:E4
In the name box (to the far left of the formula bar) you'll see where it
says: E2.
Click in that box and type: Percent
Hit ENTER

Now, check out the named range you just created.
Select any cell
Click the drop arrow in the name box
Click on Percent and see what happens
