I figured out my formula problem!

When I have been entering formulas, I have been putting a "=" in the first
space of the cell entry box instead of clicking on the formula button and
entering from there. I don't know why it makes a difference but the IF
functin worked so, I assume, my IRR functions would work if I re-entered
them....

Sorry about all the time people wasted in trying to solve my problem. But I
hope this thread helps someone else...

Steve,

It's good to follow up on your own thread.  But it's better if you put it as
a reply to your original post.  That keeps the thread together.

It's under my original thread on my computer. I clicked on "reply to group"
in Outlook Express.

Stomps,

Weird.  It appears at the top of this thread in my OE.  I often see what
appears to be orphaned replies (original post not there, but a RE: post
there), but never saw one that appeared to be an original post.  Oh well.  I
just wanted to mention it.

I think that he is typing in a new title each time.
