Yes i can see it but can`t select. The data i want to change is what i see
in a list from a listbox. The listbox is getting the data from the cells i
can`t select.

If you have turned off Sheet protection, ie Tools / Protection / Unprotect
sheet, then do you have any macros running at all. Does it prompt youy to
enable macros when you start the file (I'm assuming you wouldn't have
security set to low such that it wouldn't)
