Is thier a formula to use to change hous and minutes, just into minutes ex:
01:30 (1 hour and 30 minutes) into 90 minutes. And how do you format the
cells.

Hi
Excel stores times as fractions of a day.
Therefore to convert to hours, multiply by 24 (result 1.5)
To convert to minutes multiply by 1440 (24 * 60 ) (result 90)
Format cell as General.

Belt,
If you have a true date-time serial, you can format it so show just minutes.
Format - Cells - Number - Custom:
[m] or
[mm]
