Excel is a spreadsheet program. It leaves fancy word processing trick to
Word
If you want word-processing features then link a Work doc to an Excel doc
using the strengths of each.
If MS added all the bells and whistles of word-processing to Excel it would
be too big, too complicated and the math bugs would never get any attention.

Thanks for the response. I have a client that uses Excel and wants all the
Word features and Access features to go with it. I usually give the same
speech but I do tell them that I will double check.
So you are for separation of Church and State. That's good!

Left and right header and footer margins do not follow the page margins and
cannot be changed outwards.
They are generally limited to about 3/4 inch from paper edge.
You can pad with spaces to bring them inwards.
