When using the Excel AutoFilter, I would like to perform operations on the
filtered results displayed.
Some operations like AutoSum work (adding up only the filtered results
displayed), yet operations like COUNTA do not work.

How can I quickly count filtered results if COUNTA uses the entire range
rather than the filtererd results?

Thanks,
David

for countA in filtered result, please use:
=subtotal(3, Range)

Perfect! Thank you. Looks like the SUBTOTAL formula is something I should
spend some time learning more about.
