Hi,

How does hide/hide work in Excell for e.g. rows ?

When I hide some rows, how can I see where in my sheet hidden rows are ? Is here a marker indicating
hidden rows ?

And can I also unhide row per row, or does "unhide" work for the entire sheet ?

Some help would be nice.

Thxs.

The rows are identifiable by looking at the row numbers along the left, and
see which if any are missing.

You can hide a single row, select the row and goto Format>Row>hide.

In addition, if you have several rows hidden and wish to unhide just one of
these..............

Say rows 4 through 12 are hidden.

Type a cell address like A9 in the namebox and hit ENTER then Format>Row>Unhide.

Only that row will be unhidden.

I didn't know that. It is useful, thanks Gord.
