where my formula is displayed- how can I make the font of it fixed?
I'm working on an annoying sheet, where I nav back and forth to compare
two formulas for differences visually.
when I compare up and down
=IF(AND(OR(COUNTIF(J12:J20,A12)=1,COUNTIF(B13:J13,A12)=1,COUNTIF to
=IF(AND(OR(COUNTIF(J12:J20,A12)=1,COUNTIF(B14:J14,A12)=1,COUNTIF
it's easy, the whole displayed length is the same and I arrowkey back
and forth to check my progress/look for errors.
when I go from h to i
=IF(AND(OR(COUNTIF(J12:J20,A12)=1,COUNTIF(B14:J14,A12)=1,COUNTIF
=IF(AND(OR(COUNTIF(I12:I20,A12)=1,COUNTIF(B14:J14,A12)=1,COUNTIF
it can't be as easily checked.. the whole length moves.
any way to force my displayed formula to use a fixed length font?
I have to do this quite repetitiously.

Tools>Options>General>Standard Font.
Change to Courier or any other fixed font.
Restart Excel.
Note: this will be default font in the Formula Bar for all workbooks.
Cell font formatting can be whatever you want it to be.
