I have a user who is experiencing problems with pivot tables.  Once a
pivot table is created, they are unable to change the selected items to
update the pivot table.  They cannot uncheck the currently select
fields, or check new fields.  They expierenced it a few months ago,
which was temporarily resolved via a reinstall of Office 2000.  The
issue is now back.  Any ideas on why this is happening?  It is not
isolated to a single excel file, it happens in any sheet with pivot
tables.  Thanks for help.

Can other people use the pivot tables in the same files without any problem?

Other people can use the pivot tables without any problem.  I dont
think it's related to the worksheet as when the user creates a brand
new worksheet, with a brand new pivot table, they still experience the
issue.
