We suddenly have 2 more protected cells on the 12th page of our book. I have
tried all kinds of things to drop the protection of these 2 cells. I have
tried all kinds of things & looked @ help but no banana. Help. TIA

Unprotect the sheet.
Select those 2 cells.
Click on Format - Cells - Protection tab.
UnCheck the Locked box.

What do you consider as a "page"?

A worksheet in your workbook or a "print" page on one worksheet?

I will assume a worksheet because the "12th page" is unclear to me.

You mention "2 more".  You must have other cells protected in that case.

By default all cells on a worksheet are locked when you protect the sheet.

Those you don't want locked must be designated as unlocked before protecting the
worksheet.

Have you done this?

Have you unprotected the worksheet and unlocked those cells then reprotected the
worksheet?
