hyperlink to adobe Pdf file

I enter a hyperlingk to an Adobe Pdf file that is on my computer in a cell,
but it does not open the file, it just gives a blink and nothing happens. I
tried this link in Outlook and it worked, and I tried inserting hypelinks in
excel to word and other programs and it worked fine, I only have a problem
to link an Adobe pdf file in Excel.

Maybe it's not excel. A few people complained that the Reader appeared and then
disappeared.

So make sure you have the latest version of the software:
