Log data entry time

Hi there

I'd like to have Excel log the timestamp of each row of entered data.

Example:

Data        Timestamp
4005401548638    24.01.2007 15:42
4005401548756    24.01.2007 15:43

(the first column, data, is entered using a handheld barcode scanner)

How can I achieve this?

I don't know if this'll work with a barcode scanner, but JE McGimpsey shows a
way when entering data manually:
