SHORTCUT OPENS EXCEL BUT NOT FILE

Hi

We are running excel 2002, with Windows XP. The problem we are having is we
have several charts that when we click on them to open, it opens excel but
not the chart.

However if you open excel, navigate to the storage folder and then open the
file, it works fine.

I have attempted a detect and repair with no success

Rick,

Tools - Options - General tab. Uncheck "Ignore other applications."
