I need to be able to specify drop down menus that depend on the selections
made in other menus.  For example, I will specify in cell A1 the choice
between dog and tree.  If the user picks dog then I want the selections in
cell B1 to be beagle and hound.  If the user picks tree in A1 then I want
the choices in B1 to be oak and pine.  I think you get my drift.  It isn't
clear to me how to set this up.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks in
advance.

You're describing Dependent Lists.

See Debra Dalgleish's coverage of them at her website:

Does that help?
(Post back with more questions.)
