Can I change to data source to an existing pivot table or do I have to start
over?

I currently use a spreadsheet as the data source.  It was made from a MS
Access query and I'd now like to make the query the data source.

How can I do this?

Thanks.

Hi
Ron Coderre has written a nice Addin which allows you to alter data
sources.
It is available at Debra Dalgleish's site

SAC,
In Excel 2003 and possibly former version you can select the pivot
table you are working, than try create another pivot table, but simply
check the selection back when you can determine the area of data
source and include rows and columns of reference.

In Excel 2007 you you have a command to select the data source
directly.

I hope it could help.
