MS Office Forum / Excel / New Users / July 2007Clicking on the printer icon in Excel gives a "Save As" screen.
I click on the printer icon in Excel and get a "Save As" screen. The "Save As" screen leads nowhere. What's wrong? What can I do? Beyond that, look for malicious or just badly programmed macros. Check your security settings, check your Excel startup directory and personal.xls file, and so forth. If you want to just try resetting that single icon. Tools|Customize rightclick on the printer icon choose reset > I click on the printer icon in Excel and get a "Save As" screen. That would bring up a save as dialog.
