How do you turn Auto-Save off so it stays off? I go to tools>autosave and uncheck it but it keeps popping back up. Thanks Are you talking about Tools>Options>Save>Autorecovery in versions 2002 and newer? Or perhaps Tools>AutoSave in versions before 2002? If the latter, go to Tools>Add-ins and uncheck it.
