Locking graphics objects

When I insert lines or columns in a spreadsheet, any vector objects (graphs,
clipart, drawings) that overlap the inserted lines are enlarged. However
this does not happen with bitmap images.

Is there a way of locking my vector objects so that they remain the same
size when I insert/delete rows or columns?

TIA
R

Select your shape, press [CTRL]+1, or choose Format>AutoShape, or
right-click your shape and pick AutoShape...

In the dialog box, go to the Properties tab...

Choose "Don't move or size with cells"

click OK and Bob's your uncle.
