All of a sudden, my XL 2003 stopped letting me use the arrow keys to
change the cell selection.  I can still scroll left / right / up /
down through the window using the keys, but the cell selection doesn't
change.  Ctrl+Home takes me to A1 and selects it, Ctrl+End acts the
same way.  But Ctrl+ any arrow key doesn't work.

Did I accidentally hit a setting somewhere?

Carp!!  Is *that* what that key does??!?  Yes, it was on - yes,
turning it off corrected the issue.

Thank you!

Here's a tip to alert  you if you press either numlock, scroll lock or caps
lock by mistake and you are running windows

Do start>settings>control panel, select accessibility options, then select
togglekeys

That way you will hear a tone if you hit any of those keys. I hit caps lock
and num lock a lot by mistake (I have even removed it from some of my
keyboards) and the warning is good to have
