Working with multiple sheets

I have a "main' sheet, which is setup as a floor plan. I have 5 other
sheets, each a portion of the the floor plan. I am looking for a way
to make a change to the numbering on the main page, and have it
updated on the corresponding portion sheet.

I am aware of the CTRL option, and the Sheet1!A1 option. Since the
floor plan includes some color coding and borders, I would like to
find a way that copies all properties for a cell. Sheet1!A1 seems to
only copy the contents, but not the formatting. I started to use this
option, but copying the code correctly into each box became tiresome
although if that is my only option I will just have to live with it.
Is there a better way to accomplish this?

You could write a Worksheet_Change macro to copy the cell and formatting to
another sheet but if you only change the formatting then the Macro will not
fire.  You would have to re-enter or change the cell contents which is not
what you are wanting.
