Hello, what formula can I use to convert day, month, year, and time values
to just a year

For example, what formula can I use to convert 4/16/2002 12:59pm to simply
2002 or 1/1/2002.

Thasnks for responding ... I still must be doing something wrong ...

In E2 I have the date 6/20/2001 12:25pm and then enter in H2 ... =YEAR(E2)
and I get the value 6/23/1905.

Any ideas?

Format it as General (or number)--just not a date.

I'm just your patsy aren't I? I lead with a half-volley, and you smash the
winner <g>

Do you play tennis?
