In case anyone is interested, there is a free Beta test of an MS Excel
2007 Certification test available at Brainbench.com. Here is the link
to find the test:

This is not an advertisement, just a chance to test your knowledge and
tell us about the test.

OK, it's superficial. Hard to believe the question about which file
extension Excel 2007 uses to save templates would in any way determine
a potential employee's abilities. Personally, I'd prefer hiring
someone who knew how to use online help to find answers to trivial
questions such as that but had good ideas for how to use Excel and any
other available tools to figure out real problems.

Putting it differently, how many national spelling bee winners went on
to be award winning authors? Same problem with your test. Far better
to put a potential employee at a PC and give them a simple but not too
simple task and see how they do. Certainly better than wasting money
on your tests.
