I am working in Excel 2007 on a spreadsheet created in 2003 - when I try to
insert a row (on any sheet) I get the message "cannot shift objects off
sheet" and the OK button.  Not sure what this means or how to correct it but
I cannot insert any rows.

Would appreciate your help.

Are all rows under the area you're working with hidden? What's
the last row number? I use to make my spreadsheets look nice
by hiding all columns and rows that weren't in use but found
you can't insert columns or rows if you do.

Are all the rows formatted in some way?  Or certain cells in every row?
Even if the cells themselves are blank, if you've formatted them, it will
cause a problem when trying to insert new rows.
