It might be better if you explained what you are actually trying to do.
There may be another way to handle it as you cannot 'encrypt' the numbers

I am trying to scramble numbers... which can then be decrypted when needed.
For Excel 2003 we used another program to encrypt the columns. Now that we
upgraded to 2007, the functionality is not there, and we can't find anything
else to use. Thank you.

I would ask the supplier of the encryption software. I would think they
would have a solution by now as Excel 2007 is now nearly 1 year on since RTM
