Compared with Excel 2007 install on Vista and Excel 2007 installed on XP. The
font color of Vista is darker and sharper than XP. Besides, the color of the
toolbar's background also vary.

The difference of the font color is obvious specially when the font size is
small.

I've updated latest font file and display driver but no improvement.

Any solution?

Office gets its settings from the operating system and the two operating
systems are different.

I thought Office/Excel 2007 overrode Windows settings in order to provide
their Oh! So! Wonderful! new themes. Or are the themes defined differently
for XP and Vista, and (surprise!) MSFT has made the appearance under Vista
somewhat more appealing?

But perhaps the color depth settings are different on the OP's machine for
XP and Vista. If so, that would be a hardware setting rather than an OS
setting, strictly speaking.
