MS Office Forum / Excel / New Users / September 2007Wrapping text in a merged cell
Hi all I have merged cells to make a larger area to input text, however, it wont let me wrap text. It works fine when I dont merge the cells. Does anybody know how to do this (or if it's possible)? Cheers Mikey It's certainly possible to wrap text in a merged cell. Select your merged cells, choose Format/Cells... and check the Wrap text checkbox in the Alignment pane. Does that not work? I've sorted it now I think OP is looking at the problem of merged cells not autofitting.
