Hi all

I have merged cells to make a larger area to input text, however, it
wont let me wrap text. It works fine when I dont merge the cells.

Does anybody know how to do this (or if it's possible)?

Cheers

Mikey

It's certainly possible to wrap text in a merged cell. Select your
merged cells, choose Format/Cells... and check the Wrap text checkbox in
the Alignment pane.

Does that not work? If not, does the text cut off at the cell boundary,
or does it extend to the next cell(s)?

Thanks for your help. I've sorted it now

I think OP is looking at the problem of merged cells not autofitting.

See this google search result for more info on autofitting with merged cells.
