Hi,

Trying to add the Analysis toolpak to use the histogram tool. I go to
excel options, Add-ins, manage, check the Analysis toolpak, click ok. No
errors, and it now shows as an active add-in. Yet I don't get an
analysis group or data analysis button in the data menu.

How can I get the data analysis commands to show up? I have admin rights
etc.

Thanks, Jennifer

This sounds like you're using xl2007.

If you go into the VBE (hit alt-f11 to get there), then click ctrl-r to see the
project explorer, do you see the project/workbook for that analysis toolpak.

If you don't see it, then the addin isn't loading correctly.

Maybe it'll help someone with a suggestion.

Sounds like you have macro security set too high.

Tools|Options... Security tab, Macro Security... button.Choose Medium
if you want to be prompted when loading, Low if not.
