I am wanting to know if it is possible to have a single workbook in Excel for
European presentations without having to do a global change for all workbooks
under "Control Panel"?  I have used the toolbar conversion but it does not
change the comma to a period when displaying EU.  The only way I have found
is to do a global change which changes all my workbooks.  If there is another
way that only impacts the desired workbook that would be great.

I assume you are not speaking of the date format (US mm/dd/yyyy vs
rest-of-world dd/mm/yyyy) since that is easy to fix with a custom format.
But numbers with a period as the thousands separator and a comma for the
decimal indicator cannot been done the custom format. You could use ### ###
###.00 to get a space for the thousands separator, I am sure most Europeans
would understand that.
best wishes
